McFarlane's Monsters was EXCELLENT; they will never be topped.
McFarlane's Monsters 2 sucked.
McFarlane's Monsters 3... well, I liked Billy.
And this series seems to be in the same group as Oz, unless my opinions change when I see them on the shelf.
And the red ball appears to be the stool.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">im in the same boat. red is the only one i really like. the 2 other chicks are alright but the other 3 are just rejects. i dont know what to do since ill get the 3 chicks and i have all the other monsters figures. i mean humpty and peter arent just bad in the line i think there some of the dumbest mcfarlane figures to dateQuote:

Other than Bathory, Monsters 3 is still warming pegs in heavy numbers around here, particulary EB Games.
ya monsters 3 has been discounted at kb forever and they still sit, and i think that was a really good line. i guarantee this set will be in the same boat if not worse

Yep, I agree.
I thought Infernal Parade would sell well, but I can go to 1-2 places around here and get a full set.
I thought Infernal Parade was one of the best things McF ever did. It boggles my mind how one line can be so brilliant and another so meh.
I loved IP, too... the figures and the stories were fantastic.
a few from this series aren't bad (note: a FEW)
what I find weird is, it's like TMp is living up to every joke and steroetype fans have made over the past year or more...
as for Pumpkin Eater, aside from the boxers he's actually pretty fuckin cool
one of the few figures that I wont worry about customizing, cant wait to replace the boxers with like, some dirty, old slack,s or somethign that actually fits rather than blue boxers
damn, looking at the line, they use alot of bright colours, fits in pretty well with the "fairy tales" theme, rather than all blacks, browns and tans, I guess (waits for spliff to make a racial joke)

I don't care for this line either. It had potential, but none of the designs do much for me. I like the idea of the Peter Pumpkin eater, but I don't much like the sculpt, and the cheesy ass pumpkin jammies ruin any creepiness on the figure.
I don't care for Muffet either, but I do dig the spider. I MIGHT pick her up just for that. I love goth chicks and bondage, but I am so tired of seeing figures in S&M gear. Although I do KINDA like the Red Riding Hood figure. At least she doesn't have huge fake tits.
So yeah, I just want the giant spider. The rest can sit on the pegs were they belong.
